SHPC Membership

The online pop-up store is now available until around June 17, 2023
Outdoor Play at South Haven High School
The tennis courts are going to be closed starting Tuesday May 30th for resurfacing. Lined pickleball courts should be available approximately two weeks after that.
SHPC Events
We will be scheduling a SHPC annual meeting and summer picnic, stay tuned.
Pickleball Demonstration at Baseline Middle School
On Wednesday, May 17, ten adult pickleball players from the South Haven Pickleball Club were invited to demonstrate their pickleball playing skills for the Baseline Middle School seventh and eighth grade students. Physical Education teacher, Megan Washegesic, and retired South Haven Public School teacher, Cathy (Seggie) Duda, organized a morning of pickleball play as an enhancement to Mrs. Washegesic's pickleball unit. Prior to each class, the adults seeked to further the promotion of pickleball, and they also discussed how the game of pickleball can be a lifetime activity for all ages. Students were motivated and excited to show off their skills and get some expert advice. Games were played with adults mingling in with the students. It was a very fun experience for both the students and the adults!
